Rob and Chris founded Hoxie Huggins Construction in 2015, combining their decades of best practices, knowledge and experience building custom residential projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. We embrace a diverse range of construction types and architectural styles; from the challenging assemblies of contemporary projects to the timeless craftwork of more traditional buildings.
The HHC Team is always committed to operating with integrity, honesty and trust. We work collaboratively on our projects to combine high-quality workmanship with time-tested experience for an exceptional value. Personal attention and hands-on project management are hallmarks of our success and a critical part of building lasting relationships with owners, architects, designers, subcontractors and artisans.
HHC provides a full range of construction services; consulting and client representation, pre-construction planning and budgeting, permit and design development with owner/designer teams; new construction and renovations; post-construction and follow-up home service and maintenance reserved only for our clients.
ROB HOXIE
Rob has been in the Pacific Northwest construction industry for more than 30 years. He began his career working with overseas builders to provide them with building materials that required solid teamwork and critical logistics and supply chain management. That experience was a natural fit for then working on some of the most complex and significant residences in our area. Rob’s strong background in preconstruction planning, estimating, and project management, makes him a uniquely experienced and adaptable builder. His long-standing relationships with the region’s most experienced subcontractors and suppliers enables project teams to more effectively collaborate on both complex or value-driven projects and assemblies. When not at work, you’ll find Rob, rain or shine, chasing pars on his favorite golf course or exploring North America with his wife and with their 27-foot Airstream.
CHRIS HUGGINS
Chris has over 35 years of experience with discriminating architectural projects — from his early days as a cabinetmaker and carpenter in Chicago to the last 30 years managing residential construction projects in Seattle. Chris' dual degrees in Business (BS, Miami University) and Fine Art (MFA, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago) have provided him with a unique background well-suited to the world of high-end architectural construction. Chris brings to each project the discipline to manage complex budgets and schedules while fully understanding the value of design, craft and creativity. Whenever possible, Chris escapes to the simplicity of his cabin in the Methow Valley to create, restore and explore.
